Discover and deepen electronic prototyping with the Raspberry-Pi nano-computer
The Raspberry-Pi is a computer developed on a simple card by the Raspberry-Pi Foundation located in England. The intention of the Foundation is to stimulate basic computer science education in schools.
The design is based on the Broadcom SoC BCM2837BO component (SoC stands for System on a Chip, Armv8), which includes a Quad Core processor (4 cores) running at 1.4 GHz, 1024 MiB (1 Giga) of RAM. The design doesn't include a hard drive or SSD on the platform but instead relies on a micro SD card to boot the operating system and for long-term storage.
This is the Raspberry-Pi® 3 B Plus. Easily identifiable with its RAM welded under the card and its metal cover on the processor.

- Digital Hall Effect sensor

- A MCP3008

- A MCP23017

- A L293D
The L293D, also known as "H-Bridge", is used to control small motors. It is very useful to control small stage, robot... or simply to open a lock with a little mechanics. In short, enough to make your Pi mobile or allowing him to act on the physical world.

- 4-Bit Logic Converter (compatible I2C)
Tools that will become essential when you want to communicate with hardware in 5V Logic like an Arduino, many digital sensors sending signals 5 Volts. Your Raspberry-Pi and its power supply can't provide power to projects involving motors, relays, etc. In fact, it can support your project and some discovery tutorials... but as soon as you do something more serious, you will need an extra power.
